Final Fantasy XVI Coming to PC with Exciting Features

After over a year of being exclusive to PS5, Final Fantasy XVI is finally making its way to PC. The game will be available on both Steam and Epic Games Store starting September 17. Players who are eager to get a taste of the action can try out a free demo of the game on either platform. The demo features the opening prologue section of the game, focusing on the protagonist Clive’s adolescence, just like the PS5 version.

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XVI will be available in two editions on PC. The Standard Edition includes the base game, while the Complete Edition bundles the base game with the DLC chapters “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide.” Players can also choose to purchase the expansions separately at launch, or opt for the Expansion Pass that includes both additional story chapters. Pre-ordering the game will also reward players with in-game items.

The PC version of Final Fantasy XVI will come with the bonus “Eikonic Challenge” Mode, offering expanded access to Eikonic Abilities and exciting Eikon battles. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full game at launch, allowing players to continue their progress seamlessly. The game’s Standard Edition is priced at Rs. 3,499, while the Complete Edition will cost Rs. 4,799. With over two hours of content in the demo alone, players can expect a rich and immersive gameplay experience.

Final Fantasy XVI introduces a new standalone story within the expansive Final Fantasy universe. Set in the fantasy world of Valisthea, the game follows the journey of protagonist Clive as he navigates through a world filled with conflict. The kingdoms within Valisthea are in a constant struggle for power, all centered around the control of powerful Mothercrystals. The upcoming expansions, “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide,” promise to add even more depth and excitement to the base game.

The arrival of Final Fantasy XVI on PC is great news for fans of the series who have been eagerly waiting to explore the captivating world of Valisthea. With new editions, expansions, and features, the game promises to offer an unforgettable gaming experience for both new and returning players. Get ready to dive into a world of magic, adventure, and epic battles when Final Fantasy XVI launches on PC this September.
