Anne Chaisson, the executive director of HamptonsFilm, has announced her resignation from the organization following this year’s fall festival. Chaisson’s journey with HamptonsFilm began as a film producer for the festival, eventually leading to her role as the executive director in 2012. Over the years, Chaisson has made significant contributions to the organization, co-founding the advisory board in 2002 and spearheading various initiatives to expand the festival’s reach and impact.

In light of Chaisson’s departure, Randy Mastro, Chairman of the Board for HamptonsFilm, has announced plans to appoint a subcommittee to conduct a national search for her replacement. The new executive director will be selected following this year’s October festival.
